Black Hills Spruce (Picea glauca var. densata)

Hailing from an isolated population of white spruce in the Black Hills of South Dakota, this tree shares many characteristics with the straight species of white spruce. It tolerates dry conditions and needs well-drained soil to thrive. Excellent Christmas tree with short needles and small cones. Full sun.
