New Jersey Tea (Ceanothus americanus)

New Jersey Tea is a compact shrub with abundant white flowers in the spring.  Easily grown in average, dry to medium, well-drained soils.  Best in sandy loams or rocky soils.  Can withstand droughty conditions.  Tiny, fragrant, white flowers attract butterflies.
