Autumn Gold Ginkgo (Ginkgo biloba ‘Autumn Gold’) is an all-male cultivar with intense yellow fall color. Has a very symmetrical, broad conical habit. Autumn Gold has a smaller mature height and spread than the straight species.. Leaf drop is spectacular, occurring rapidly and covering the ground with a golden blanket of leaves.
This tree prefers full sun, medium moisture, and sandy, well-drained soils. Ginkgos are is tolerant of many environmental conditions including alkaline, acidic, saline, clay, and compacted soils, air pollution, heat, deer, and urban conditions.
