Bald Cypress (Taxodium distichum)

$40.00

Baldcypress is a deciduous conifer, meaning, it loses its leaves in the fall and new leaves emerge the next spring. It thrives in a range of conditions of swampy areas to dry sites and tolerates standing water and drought. It develops knees and a tap and horizontal root system to help control soil erosion from floods. Quite a versatile tree that grows 50-70 feet tall and 20-45 feet wide. Full sun. *2001 GreatPlants Winner
