Bartlett Pear (Pyrus x ‘Bartlett’)

The Bartlett pear is a popular, sweet, and juicy European pear variety with a classic bell shape that turns from green to yellow when ripe. It’s a versatile summer pear, excellent for fresh eating, baking, and canning, and is prized for its fine, non-gritty texture when fully ripe. One of the most widely grown pears globally. Pear trees require cross-pollination from a different pear variety nearby to produce fruit.
