First Editions® Snowdance™ Japanese Tree Lilac (Syringa reticulata ‘Bailnce’ PP20,458)
‘Snowdance’ has a shorter height than the straight species, with a layered look to the branching structure. Selected for it’s heavy blooms. Known to bloom earlier than other selections.
Beautiful ornamental tree grown as single or multi-stem. Known for white fragrant flowers in June. Cherry-like, brown bark with prominent horizontal lenticels. Tougher than most varieties of lilacs; resistant to mildew, scale and borer. Used as a street tree, specimen tree, or border tree.
