Freedom Apple (Malus domestica ‘Freedom’)

The Freedom apple is a disease-resistant variety known for its bright red skin, crisp, juicy flesh, and sweet-tart flavor, making it excellent for fresh eating, cider, and cooking. Developed in New York, it’s a vigorous, easy-to-grow tree highly resistant to common issues like scab, mildew, and fire blight, making it a favorite for organic and home orchards. It ripens in late season (late September/early October). Apple trees require cross-pollination from a different apple variety nearby to produce fruit.
