Description
The Gray Dogwood (Cornus racemosa) is a hardy, easy-to-grow native shrub that provides beauty and wildlife value year-round. Its gray stems, red stalks, and white berry clusters create striking contrast in the landscape, especially as its purple fall foliage begins to show.
Beloved by birds, Gray Dogwood’s berries ripen in late summer and disappear almost as soon as they appear! However, this same feature makes it impractical for formal plantings.
Planting & Care
