Montmorency Cherry (Prunus cerasus ‘Montmorency’)
The Montmorency cherry is a popular, cold-hardy, self-pollinating tart cherry tree known for its bright red fruit with yellow flesh, ideal for pies, jams, and preserves. It’s the most common pie cherry in North America, ripening in late June to early July.
