Post Oak is a medium sized oak that grows best in rich, moist, well-drained loams but can adapt to a wide range of soils such as poor sandy soils and heavy clay loams. It has a great drought tolerance and can grow in dry, rocky areas where other trees are unable to. This tree is a good source of food for wildlife and of bird habitat. Full sun.
