Red Sunset® Maple (Acer rubrum ‘Franksred’)
Red Sunset is a popular red maple cultivar of the eastern and central US. Highly noted for its superior red fall color and good branch structure. Red Sunset grows moderately fast and can tolerate many conditions such as wet soils, cold temperatures, and air pollution but prefers full sun to part shade in moist soils that are slightly acidic.
