Shingle Oak (Quercus imbricaria)
$40.00
Lustrous dark green leaves. Makes a nice specimen or shade tree where there is ample room for development. Often holds leaves late into winter, making it a great choice for windbreaks. The marcescent leaves attract and shelter a wide variety of birds during the winter. The acorns are relatively small and enjoyed by blue jays and flickers. Drought resistant and adaptable to poor soils. *Photo courtesy of John Royster.
