Boxelder (Acer negundo)
Unlike most maples, boxelder has odd-pinnately compound leaves and is dioecious, meaning male and female flowers occur on separate plants. As such, a plant of each sex must be present for seed production to occur. Nice, medium-sized shade and forest tree.
